The End of the F****** World, Chanmina

heyyo!!!

it's ramadhan month now! my 6th year of ramadhan without my dad btw. kinda sucks. i wanna see him.

nywayz. i've been binge watching The End of the F****** World, well i actually wanted to watch it since like 2 years ago maybe but i put it off cause i hate watching series. but fr it's reaaaalllllyyyyyyy good. aaaah i think im gonna watch it again in the future, like 2 years from now or something. it's really good. the best thing about the whole series is that u can notice James and Alyssa growing outside of their bad habits. i really like that. (SPOILER ALERT!)

some that i notice:

- in season 1 in the earlier episodes, if u watch it u'd know that Alyssa was actually James' targeted victim cause James wanted a "bigger victim" to kill after his series of killing animals. but somehow James murdered a man who tried to assault Alyssa. in the end of season 1, the police found out where they were hiding, so James told Alyssa to tell the police that he kidnapped her and killed the man. he tried to run away but got shot. from wanting to kill Alyssa to murdering a man to protect Alyssa to asking Alyssa to put all the blame on him so that only he would get punished. that's some wild shit right there....

- also, in the earlier episodes we'd hear the inner voices of Alyssa and James and most of the time they'd think of something else but say something completely different, or saying something to the other but thinking to themselves "I didn't". later in the episodes, they both start to actually say what they were thinking and would be more honest towards each other... especially because James wasn't trying to kill Alyssa anymore, even wanting to protect her, aw. wait that sounds kinda creepy tho.......

- this is the BIGGEST AND CUTEST ONE AnD MY FAV SCENE AAAAAH okay so there were a few scenes where Alyssa wanted to hold James' hand but she asked for the other hand because one of James' hands was scarred from a burn he got when he was a kid. however, in the ending scene, she held THE hand. it's a really small detail which i appreciate so much, i love it when they insert the details like this in films. makes u think u're observant and smart. lol.

eventho the story is really messed up, i think it conveyed such an imporant message. Alyssa, James and Bonnie all needed psychological help, they think of love as something bizarre because they never experienced real love from their family. even if the genre is thriller, this series is actually a sad one in my opinion. kids who are just trying to feel love but in the wrong ways 'cause nobody ever showed them the real example of love. that's sad. rather than teenagers, i think parents should watch the series. very good messages relayed in realistic but exaggerated plots. nice one. 10/10!

also! i found this Japanese rapper. her songs are so so so good, esp Dahlia. (tw: there's a su*cide scene at the end of BIJIN)
